does this mean that I fail at life?

Here's the synopsis:
Monday: We got a physics test notification for a test of friday
Tuesday: Relatively uneventful in the grand scheme of things. Mum and Dad told us we were going to a "surprise" on Saturday night so we should keep our calendars free. Angus soon deduced that it was either The Kransky Sisters or Raga Muffin. I pick A. Oh yeah, Luis told me he wants to be a counselor when he grows up *gulp*.
Wednesday: SWIMMING CARNIVAL! I aired my swim suit for the first time in a long time and went in FOUR EVENTS! Mr Burgess let us swim in the U18s because it was our last year so I got to hit the water with all my buddies for a fun-filled fifty metres of death. I came about last in freestyle, second in backstroke and fourth in breastroke. But that was in the slow heat. And LIVERPOOL WON THE BOAT RACE! I also rediscovered the fact that because my left leg is a little bit longer than my left one, i keep on running into the right lane rope if i don't watch where i'm going so I can regulate my direction. Liverpool also won the carnival so I was beaming. Then to top it off, Hamish Blake was on Spicks and Specks : )
Thursday: Valentines day. Or Day before day after valentines day day. It started off quite well, with a valentines day bus breakfast for griffo, ewen and I - that is shortbread and icemagic with sprinkles. I think icemagic is poisonous if it isnt hard. When I got to school things were ok - no one was getting it on on the picnic tables or anything so i managed to control my urge to projectile vomit. A few sad things that happened put quite a damper on things so i was glad when it was finally the end of the day and I got to go to the picnic with mush, emmas, emily, belle, nicci, madi and renata which was a lot of fun. The highlight of my day was when a really good looking red p plater gave way to me going on to morpeth bridge even though he had right of way. ATTENTION: If you are male and drive a white ute with red p plates and you gave way to a blonde learner (female) at about 4.45 on friday 15 feb at morpeth bridge - I am yours for the taking. Mum gave dad the latest cat empire cd and I am so sick of it by now its not even funny.
Friday: Day after valentines day day. A long celebrated tradition in liverpool 6 and it was quite a fine morning if i might say so myself. From there however, things went on a bit of a down hill. I had to catch the bus home, then as soon as I did get home, Dad made me help him chop down a massive tree while Angus was at the Maitland show. Then mum got home so I had to help her clean the house and make dinner which was eggplant casserole which is like my least favourite meal in the world. Then I drove dad in to maitland to pick up the boys but I was victim of a bit of road rage going through morpeth/tenambit/metford from a red P plater. We picked up three sugar high, noisy 15 year old boys, one of which had a ukelele and Dad decided to try and turn up his cat empire CD so we wouldn't have to listen to them but then it was so loud i couldnt hear myself think : ( Then we had to go and pick up there stuff and I drove them home, making the entire journey a 2 hour round trip - I was exhausted. I parked the car in the garage but dad said it wasn't good enough and asked me to do it again. He was standing in the garage and I asked him to move so I wouldn't run over him but he was like "Don't be stupid, you won't run over me"... I ran over him. His foot is quite bruised now. Feeling like rubbish, I went inside to finally watch michelle's valentines dvd and look at all of the nam photos which made me feel a lot better.
Saturday: KRANSKY SISTERS! What can I say, they were amazing. Really funny and they are actually really good singers live - incredibly good singers.
I hope that this week goes a little slower : (

Finally I've downloaded all of my photos from Vietnam and picked out the best ones to post here. While they aren't as beautiful as bianc's or as all-encapturing as i'm sure mush's video will be, i'm so proud of what we did that I can't muster up the shame not to upload them.
2007 was so multi-faceted that I didn't really know what to expect from this trip. While I've done mainly pretty well at school which I'm so thankful for because it inspires me to do other things that I otherwise wouldn't let myself fail at, it also had it's very uninspiring moments that I experienced for the first time and hope that I won't have to live with for much longer. I don't know if it's because I'm older, if it's because I see more now than I did before or if I'm just growing bitter but in this one year it's like every thing has changed. All of my family seem to be older, I'm finding out more and more things about people I thought that I knew - some of which I wish I hadn't found out and the illness that I've always had seems to affect me more and I just can't beat it like I used to. I've put my foot in things more than I can remember so precedent really wasn't looking good for Nam.
This said, the 12 days outside of my own environment was completely refreshing and one of the best experiences I've ever had, made better only by the people I shared it with. Indeed as soon as I returned I was back to being sick, eating rubbish food that really doesn't taste good at all, fighting with my brother, shopping in centres stifled by consumerism and looking forward to what was on TV, but the memories are definitely strong enough to lure me back to that part of the world if the opportunity arises again which, after talking to a gentleman on the plane on the way back I'm sure it will - it's hard to ignore South East Asia when you're smack in the middle of it.

I would simply like to thankyou for making my 16th birthday really special. Whether on the actual day or afterwards at school, I can only appreciate now how lucky i am to have you. No matter how long we have actually known each other, you guys feel like siblings more so than my own brother and every moment we spend is the best a moment can be.
Thanks for making my sixteenth so special and I could not think of a better place or better people to share it with. Thankyou all for your gifts and I shall endeavour to keep them close to me at all times - a constant reminder of the best and most beautiful people everrrrr.
thanks a million
xx sophie

Today i went to the MANSW HSC Maths lectures, they were so cool! Well not cool per say but very informative and beneficial however 5 hours of maths in one day does come with consequences. Does anyone have a machette? I think if you sliced off my buttocks i wouldn't feel it.
I'll tell you what does hurt though?! My teeth, I think my wisdom teeth are coming through, something i am not looking forward to on account of the fact that I have 6 of them :O and to top it all off, i still have a baby tooth that will not wobble...
Oh magic eight ball, will I ever retain a normal dental array?

I'm so glad we're on holidays now, i literally could not have gone another day. I was a wreck on friday before 9.00 which is not a pleasant thing to be especially at that tender hour. On Friday night i had deb practice and Friday Knight Fever so I had a massive bag with dancing clothes, makeup, costume, pretty much all you need to survive a week of extra-curricula at HVGS. Our bus broke down on the side of the road on the way to school, I hadn't counted on this. Basically we had to change bus twice, the strap broke on my bag, one of my shoes fell out and is to the moment missing in action. I was pretty well asleep by the time i got to school and I had a maths test second period. Eucalyptus drops are god sent as is the sugar it so readily donates.
Holidays are divine.
